This session will demonstrate how Google Earth VR can enhance inclusivity and engagement in classrooms by stimulating diverse home environments for international students. Attendees will learn the unique challenges faced by international students, such as cultural adjustment, while learning actionable strategies for integrating VR into educational programs. The discussion will focus on fostering ethnic belonginess to promote global cultural awareness and understanding. Actionable strategies to integrate VR into campus mental health programs will be discussed. This project aims to equip educators with the tools to promote and enhance the well-being student experiences and fostering collaboration among diverse student populations.
This presentation will explore various gaming platforms that enhance student learning in both in-person and virtual classrooms. We will introduce gamification and discuss key concepts, methods for integration into lesson planning, and share success stories and best practices. Participants will engage actively using their devices with platforms like Kahoot!, Mentimeter, Top Hat, and others, including interactive games like Jeopardy Labs, Escape Rooms, and Virtual Reality.
