The intent is give faculty and staff the opportunity to share how they are using technology in unique ways, network with other colleagues, and generate new project ideas. Discover the vision behind Penn State’s newly developing AI Coordinating Council, a strategic initiative co-sponsored by the Provost, VP for Research, and the CIO. In this session, the tri-chairs representing education, research, and operations will share their vision for the Council’s structure and goals, gathering input on potential early wins and opportunities. They will be joined by a co-chair of the Joint Standing Committee on the Effective and Appropriate Uses of AI in Instruction to discuss how the Council will collaborate with existing initiatives. Engage in this conversation to shape the future of AI at Penn State and contribute to a community driving advancements in artificial intelligence.
